Production Planning Co-Ordinator

Pertemps Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and organized Production Planning Co-Ordinator for a leading manufacturing business in Hykeham, Lincoln.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a knack for coordinating production schedules and ensuring efficient workflow.
You will play a crucial part in maintaining productivity by managing resources, materials, and schedules to meet production targets.
What will I be doing every day?
Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure optimal workflow and on-time delivery.
Coordinate with production, supply chain, and warehouse teams to manage resource allocation.
Monitor inventory levels and order materials as needed to avoid production delays.
Track production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to maintain deadlines.
Communicate effectively with different departments to resolve issues affecting production.
Generate reports and provide insights to management on production performance and improvement areas.
What skills & experience do I need?
Previous experience in production planning, scheduling, or coordination within a manufacturing or production environment.
Ideally with MRP systems.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
How much will I be paid?
£26,000 to £28,000 p/a (DOE) What are the working hours?
Monday to Friday starting at 0730.
Monday to Thursday finishing at 16:00 and Friday 12:30.
