Who are we looking for?
This job is on a two week alternating shift pattern - Early shift: Monday - Thursday 6am - 2pm, Friday 6am - 4pm & Late shift: Monday - Thursday 2pm - 10pm, Friday no shift  We are seeking a Production Operator - specialising in materials handling - to work in our dispatch area.
You will be required to: Ensure safe collection and storage of finished products.
Collate and package Customer orders in accordance with packing specifications and customer requirements.
Storage and distribution of materials to meet operational objectives and internal customers' requirements.
What will you be doing?
Operate and carry out daily checks on materials handling equipment.
Loading of vehicles and containers.
Offloading and checking of deliveries.
Locate materials into Despatch locations.
Supply materials from Despatch locations.
Report transactions within SAP.
Picking and packing of Customer orders.
Reporting and labelling through SAP and other computerised systems.
Housekeeping in Despatch locations.
Carry out stocktaking duties.
Occasional driving duties are required.
Adhere to company and departmental policies/procedures.
Who are You?
Certified driver of Manual Handling equipment.
Fully trained to carry out necessary reporting on SAP and other computerised systems.
Able to assemble and pack external orders and pick and deliver internal requisitions.
Ability to source information if needed.
Chemical segregation awareness.
Able to prioritise workload.
Hazardous Goods Awareness.
Customer awareness and product knowledge.
Trained to carry out stocktaking duties.
