At Bridgnorth Aluminium, your skills, ideas, and passion will help us drive innovation and deliver excellence across the industry Your role as a Production Operator in the Strip Mill environment will involve operating and monitoring equipment in the aluminum rolling process.
Adhering to strict protocols to maintain safe working conditions.
Responsibilities: Assist experienced operators in operating rolling mills and related machinery.
Monitor production processes according to production schedules and customer specifications and report any deviations or issues.
Conduct regular quality checks on finished products to maintain high quality standards.
Participate in routine inspections and basic maintenance tasks to ensure equipment functionality.
Collaborate with the team to achieve production targets and maintain product quality.
Adhering to strict safety protocols and maintaining a clean work area.
Requirements: Prior experience in manufacturing or a similar industrial setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Basic understanding of machinery and manufacturing processes is advantageous.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
Enthusiastic approach to learning new skills and growing within the company.
Understanding safety procedures and willingness to comply with all safety guidelines.
Working pattern: 42 hour shift pattern working days and nights which includes two 12 hour days 6am-6pm, two 12 hour nights 6pm-6am followed by four rest days.
