Job Title: Production OperativeLocation: Worksop, S81 7DJShift: Rotational 12-hour shift: 06:00-18:00 & 18:00-06:00Pay Rate: £12.93 – £19.41 per hour Weekly Pay, Overtime Available Permanent contract, after 12 weeks of successful probationary period.Production Operator – You will be involved on the preparation of ingredients, monitoring and sorting of products on the production lines, building and packing boxes with finished product, recording details onto production records, washing down production lines and cleaning production areas, manual handling whilst adhering to safe working practices, participating in initiatives to improve process and performance of equipment.
You'll aspire to become a Machine Operator helping to reduce downtime, stops, waste, over-weights all contributory towards optimal production efficiency.About the Role: As a Production Operative, you will be involved in the preparation, processing, packing or dispatching of products to optimum efficiency in terms of speeds, performance and quality.
Your responsibilities will include: Sieving, weighing, and measuring of ingredients.Monitoring and sorting of products on the production lines.Building and packing boxes with finished product.Recording details onto production records.Washing down production lines.Cleaning production areas.Manual handling.Adhering to safe working practicesParticipating in initiatives to improve process and performance of equipment, role and department.Independently generate ideas to improve performance in working area.
