Production Operative Own Transport Required Location: Bury St Edmunds Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts including days, nights, and weekends We are recruiting a Production Operative to join a well-established, family-run business located near Bury St Edmunds.
This permanent position offers direct employment from day one within a supportive and dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure consistent output.
Perform quality checks and maintain production within specification standards.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to hygiene and safety protocols.
Complete accurate production records and reports.
Support maintenance activities and collaborate with other departments as required.
Provide cover for team members across shifts as needed.
The Ideal Candidate Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively under pressure.
Physically capable of handling materials and working in an industrial setting.
Flexible and reliable, with the ability to adjust to varying shift patterns.
Comfortable working in challenging conditions, such as at height or in confined spaces.
Previous manufacturing or production experience is beneficial but not essential, as training will be provided.
