The company A leading company in the food production sector, renowned for their commitment to quality, safety, and exceptional service.
They are expanding their operations and are in need of a dedicated Cold Store Operative to support the warehouse team.
The job Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
Perform routine checks and maintenance on the forklift to ensure optimal performance.
Assist with inventory management, including stock checks and maintaining accurate records.
Organize and stack goods in the designated areas, ensuring efficient use of space.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including packing, labeling, and general housekeeping.
The requirements Proven experience as an FLT Operative in a warehouse or similar environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy items.
Be adaptable, be able to work 3 shift 6-2/2-10/10-6 and the odd Saturday when needed.
