Production Operative

The below positions are being advertised by Swift Temps Ltd acting as an employment agency.
Our client, one of the largest industry producers in the UK are growing their team in near Wem, Shropshire.
Several ,long-term, full time , immediate position available working within production with the choice of working Monday to Friday or 4 on/ 4 off shift pattern Hours/ days of work: Monday to Friday only : 6.45am up to 6pm or 4 on / 4 off: 4 days on and 4 days off working 6.45 up to 6pm including some weekend work subject to shift pattern Palletising, Packing and Tray Wash / Hygiene duties are available as described below: Palletising: Loading goods onto pallets safely and securely Moving stock Packing when required Attention to detail Packing: Packing goods into containers / cartons Checking quality of goods Ensuring labels are correct on cartons Tray Wash / Hygiene Working in a wet room with a jet washer in full PPE Ensuring pallets are sprayed off and cleaned Ensuring trays are all clean of food waste ready to be reused Previous production experience ideally within a food production environment is desirable however full on the job training will be provided to those with a can do attitude with permeant contracts available after 12 full working weeks through Swift Temps Ltd Pay: £12.00 per hour inclusive of attendance/ safety bonus (£11.50ph basic rate ) paid weekly Due to the rural location of the site located between Wem & Whitchurch, own reliable transport is required , and those without their own transport need not apply as these applications will not be considered.
