Production Operative

Production Operative Hours of work: Monday-Thursday 2pm-10pm  Pay rates:  £12.50 Location:  Evesham Start date:  Immediate starts available  Job Type:  Temp - Perm The duties will include: Setting up and operating various machines Drilling, grinding and lathe work Dexterous assembly work Quality control checks To ensure smooth operation of multiple lines To conduct morning and end of shift checks for the production line, ensuring all equipment and machinery are in proper working order before the start of operations.
To perform regular glass inspections to identify and remove any potential contaminants from the production line, ensuring product safety and quality.
To collect packaging materials from the Labelroom and return unused materials at the end of each job run.
To set up packaging materials and supplies on the production line, ensuring they are readily available for the packing process.
To complete tool changeovers, coordinating with the maintenance team to ensure smooth transitions between product runs and minimizing downtime.
To collaborate closely with the maintenance team to address any issues or maintenance requirements promptly, ensuring uninterrupted line operations and minimal disruptions to production.
To collaborate with the production team to implement process improvements and best practices, aiming for continuous improvement and increased efficiency.
To ensure that lines are cleaned regularly and closed down properly at the end of each shift when not in used.
To undertake any other duty commensurate with the role
