Production Operative

Role: Production Operative Location: Near Blackwood Contract Type: Ongoing Temporary Working Pattern: Shift Schedule: Continental shift pattern (day and night shifts).
Hours: 7 AM - 7 PM and 7 PM - 7 AM.
Flexibility: Required to work weekends and bank holidays as part of the rota.
Hourly Rate: £11.44 per hour £12.70 per hour after 12 weeks Responsibilities Quality Checks: Visually and physically inspect products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
Document findings and report consecutive defects to Line Supervision.
Equipment Operation: Operate processing equipment as needed.
Sampling: Collect and supply product samples for quality assurance.
Standards Maintenance: Maintain GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) in all activities.
Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives by suggesting and implementing improvements.
Compliance & Housekeeping: Ensure adherence to company rules, regulations, and ISO 9000 quality systems while maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
About You Experience: Previous production experience is advantageous but not essential.
Commitment: Ability to work full-time in the specified shift pattern.
