PRODUCTION OPERATIVE/TOOL PREPPER - £12 PER HOUR PAYE - 12 MONTHS - GREATER BLACKBURN & DARWEN - SINGLE STAGE INTERVIEW PROCESS We are seeking a skilled Production Operative to join our team in manufacturing composite, structural, and non-structural components.
The ideal candidate will be adaptable, capable of working independently or as part of a team, and ready to meet production goals set by the Value Stream Team Leader/Manager.
A flexible, multi-skilled approach is essential, as the role involves handling various manufacturing tasks across the business.
Primary Responsibilities: Daily Coordination: Engage frequently with the Value Stream Leader/Manager to stay aligned with production schedules and meet set targets.
Process Compliance: Follow master processes and related documentation, such as batch cards and Work Instruction Sheets (WIS), to ensure adherence to industry standards during component production.
Health & Safety: Consistently monitor and uphold health and safety regulations in the workplace.
Procedure Adherence: Follow established protocols across Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People (SQCDP) to maintain operational efficiency.
Tool Preparation: Prepare tools as specified in the work instruction sheets for various manufacturing tasks.
Bagging Techniques: Utilize proper techniques for bagging and applying related materials.
Manual Lay-Up: Perform manual lay-up of pre-impregnated carbon and glass fiber materials onto mold tools.
Skills Development: Assist the Value Stream Leader/Manager in updating skills planning and maintaining training records.
