PRODUCTION OPERATIONS MANAGER Looking for a new and exciting change in direction as an autonomous team leader?
Our Production Operations Manager role could be just the thing for you.
You're probably wondering what's involved… You'll be joining a great management team, with 6 direct reports – and as part of the wider operations team you will have plenty of opportunity to collaborate and find support.
You'll work from our site in Maidenhead and whilst there are opportunities to work from home occasionally, the nature of the role is such that you'll need to be on-site with your team.
You will develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve the end-to-end delivery of customer orders through process optimisation, continuous improvement/lean methodologies, and automation to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.
You will be entirely accountable for setting the production plan and ensuring that all production operations activities are completed as per the agreed schedule to ensure on time and right first-time delivery.
You will Identify and manage risk mitigation to the production delivery schedule while having have full ownership and responsibility for the development of 'fit for purpose' planning & production processes, also covering company MRP system.
You will also manage the Production Engineering function to set up the operations/manufacturing facility to optimise workspace and promote lean work & assembly build practices including 'visual workplace' tools.
