Founded in 1887, with 2023 revenue of $3.5 billion, our mission to Connect What Matters is brought to life by more than 7,000 global team members who collaborate with customers across more than 30 market segments in over 140 countries to develop highly specified solutions that enable customers to bring world-changing innovations to their end markets.PRIMARY DUTIESThis individual will be involved in a variety of tasks including:Issue raw materials to Production in accordance with batch sheets / production planTo Carryout SAP Transactions and completion of necessary paperworkTo locate raw materials to the correct locationsTo manage workload prioritiesTo deal with stock discrepanciesTo assist production where needed – packing, cleaning, weighing and additional tasksManage stocks on a FIFO basis ensuring batches are picked as required from SAP pick listsMaintaining Health and Safety standards and ensuring good housekeeping in warehouses and safe stacking of palletsAssist with cycle counts and stock takes on RMsAdditional duties include moving of finished goods pallets to despatch warehouse to assist logisticsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS•3-5 years experience in a manufacturing environmentSAP experienceIT literate, competent user of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and WordAbility to communicate at all levels and across different functions i.e.
Production, Procurement, Logistics etc.Ability to work well under pressure with minimal management if requiredGood team worker who will willingly support the entire production team and cover other roles due to holidays and absenceExceptional attention to detail.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS GCSE English and Maths or similar, FLT (counter balance), good communication skills, good computer skills
