Role Summary: The production facilities in Fillongley produce 12,13 and 19 litre bottles of water for the water cooler industry.
These are then transported to various destinations throughout the UK.
As the Production Manager, you will oversee the smooth operation of the team.
The role is responsible for the daily running of the Production Centre, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met on a daily basis to deliver an effective service to our Customers.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and optimise the day-to-day production operations, ensuring that production schedules are met along with costs, quality to food industry standards and on time delivery of the product achieved.
Supervise and mentor production staff, ensuring proper training and adherence to safety standards.
Analyse production data and develop strategies for continuous improvement in processes and outputs.
Manage inventory and oversee the maintenance of machinery and equipment.
Prepare reports on production data and communicate these to senior management.
Management of 2 production shifts Liaison with other internal departments as well as external customers.
Drive continuous improvement & training throughout the teams implementing change and new ways of operating where required.
  Requirements Proven experience in a production management role A strong understanding of Health and Safety is required.
Qualification advantageous.
Strong understanding of production processes and quality control principles.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
