Production Manager up to £58,000 plus company pension & full benefits package Hereford We are currently recruiting for an experienced Production Manager to join an industry leading manufacturer just outside of Hereford.

As Production Manager you will: - Be responsible for motivating, leading and engaging Production Supervisors and shop floor operators in an extrusion environment - Ensure that the daily plan is adhered to, and achieved by the production team - Be responsible for achieving output while meeting and exceeding productivity targets by reviewing and planning for daily, weekly, and quarterly labour requirements and equipment as well as tooling and supply requirements - Lead the team in developing and implementing effective systems for improving internal and external quality, cost improvements and on-time delivery.
- Be accountable for daily analysis of variable labour costs and work with Production Supervisors and Team leaders to determine required staffing levels.
- Carry out management responsibilities including recruiting, and training employees; planning, directing work; evaluating and appraising individual performance.
- Control departmental budgets and be responsible for HSE on the shop floor - Showcase your continuous improvement and lean manufacturing experience.
You will need to be the owner of 6S and attend weekly meetings with senior members of the management team.
