A manufacturing company based in Dungannon require a Production Manager to join their Senior Management Team Job Overview: The Production Manager will oversee all production activities, ensuring that products are manufactured efficiently, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This role involves leading a team, coordinating with multiple departments, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to achieve company production and quality goals.
Key Responsibilities: Production Planning & Scheduling Quality Control & Assurance Team Leadership to manage and mentor employees Inventory & Resource Management.
Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained Oversee the implementation of Kanban or other inventory control methods to optimise resources and minimise waste.
Continuous Improvement Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality within the production process.
Health & Safety coordination Liaise with Health & Safety Consultant to ensure policies and procedures are adhered to Conduct regular safety audits and address any potential risks proactively.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting Prepare and present regular production performance reports to the General Manager and Board.
Person Specification: A Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Production Management role, within manufacturing or engineering Proven experience in implementing lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or similar methodologies.
Strong leadership and team-building skills, with experience managing multi-functional teams.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to handle production scheduling, cost control and project management effectively.
