PRODUCTION MANAGER PERMANENT HEREFORD £58,000 + EXCELLENT BENEFITS As a Production Manager within this company you will have overall responsibility for Safety, Quality, Delivery/Throughput, Cost and People in the department.

The main areas of responsibility include: * Safety: * Quality - (including process control, standard work and reduced variation for plant) * Throughput - (TOC Lines and Rates through Gates, On-Time to Schedule and customer requirements to support the Weekly Production and Sales Plan) * Staffing - (staffing levels, flexibility, Training and absence management and overtime to support Weekly Production Plan) * Daily Flex - (department P&L, ESH/Variable cost management and managing expenditure for department within agreed budget) KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATION/EDUCATION * Graduate calibre with management diploma and/or have equivalent experience within a management role in a unionised environment * Demonstrable Leadership within a manufacturing environment * Able to deploy department/business objectives into day to day plans and roll out and delegate to teams, able to clearly identify day to day priorities and create action plans to deliver Demonstrable experience in managing people (development and managing performance), managing information (effective budget control and communication activities), managing activities (prioritising activities, continuous improvement activities) and managing systems (including knowledge of ISO9001, OSHA18001 and ISO14001) If you would like more information than this brief description please get in touch.
