They're looking to recruit a Production Team Leader (Industrial Filtration ) to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
Hours: Mon-Fri (6am - 2pm) What does the Production Team Leader role involve?
The main purpose of this role is to take a proactive stance within Industrial Filtration manufacturing.
This role will be responsible for supervising and leading, Material Mixing, Forming, Linishing, Dipping, Drying, Inspection and Packing.
You will be responsible for driving production efficiency, implementing robust systems, and establishing effective process controls to ensure high-quality output.
Take a hands-on approach to production including the operating of equipment and producing products as required.
You will lead initiatives to enhance documentation, streamline workflows, and uphold safety and quality standards, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve continuous improvement.
Leading and motivation a manufacturing team - including line management duties Ensuring a smooth operational process and ensuring production targets and standards are met What will you bring to the Production Team Leader role?
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise and commitment to operational excellence in a fast-paced production environment.
ILM Level 3 or equivalent qualification IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent qualification) Demonstratable Experience of working within an ISO9001 certified business A minimum of 5 years in a supervisory/management role within manufacturing.
A minimum of 7 years manufacturing experience Proven experience in team management and performance improvement, with the ability to motivate, develop, and retain team members in a manufacturing environment Demonstratable experience in setting performance expectations, conducting evaluations, and managing performance improvement processes and conduct disciplinary hearings up to written warning stage and managing absence.
Demonstratable experience of lean manufacturing processes and techniques High proficiency in IT, including a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs First Aider certification (or be willing to engage in the relevant training) Fire Warden certification (or be willing to engage in the relevant training) To possess a FLT licence (or be willing to engage in the relevant training) Where is the Production Team Leader role based?
The role is based in Derby (near City Centre) so if you live in Derbyshire or the surrounding areas, great!
This would be a short commute if you have access to your own but is also a short walking distance from the Derby train station and local bus stops.
