Role Overview: As a Production & Fulfillment Specialist at Mason's Meats, you will be at the heart of our operations, involved in every step of our jerky-making process.
From handling raw beef to the final stages of dehydration and packaging, your role will be pivotal in maintaining our high standards of quality and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities Include: Meat Handling: Safely handling raw beef, ensuring it meets our stringent quality criteria.
Processing: Slicing, seasoning, and preparing beef for dehydration.
Dehydration: Managing the dehydrators to ensure perfect consistency and flavour.
Fulfillment: Packaging, labelling, and preparing orders for dispatch.
Quality Assurance: Regular checks to ensure our products meet our high standards.
Safety Compliance: Adhering to all food safety regulations and maintaining a clean working environment.
Requirements: Enthusiasm for Meat: A genuine interest in meat processing and jerky production is essential.
Physical Fitness: The role involves standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks, including carrying loads up to 50kg.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to Detail: Precision in handling meat, following recipes, and packaging.
Flexibility: Willingness to undertake additional training, particularly in food safety (CIEH or equivalent).
Transport: Own transport is recommended due to the remote location near Tunbridge Wells.
Desirable Skills: Previous experience in food production, especially meat processing.
Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety.
