Honesty Group are looking for an exceptional team player to join our small team of chefs and bakers as a Production Assistant (Cakes and Kitchen) producing the food which is then sold throughout all of our coffee shops and wholesale customers.
Products to be made in this particular role include but are not limited to SAVOURIES (salads, sandwiches, sausage rolls, soups).
amongst many other products, and have the opportunity to develop new products and contribute to the 'Bake of the Month'.
The Production Assistant will learn how to make all these items, and have the opportunity to develop their career as a food producer.

General Purpose To help produce and pack food items alongside the chefs and bakers according to the company's standards and respecting its ethos.
To understand the recipes and the procedures associated with food production, including all the products in the catalogue.
MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY To support the Supervisors and Production Teams in their daily tasks.
To produce the quantities on the production plan, considering: Quantities and yields; Recipes and oven capacity; Stocks and product availability.
To rotate the stock of products on a FEFO basis; To assist the other team members on their activities, and to seek support and technical assistance; To embrace the HACCP system and its procedures with no exception; To embrace the H&S regulations and its procedures with no exceptions; To support the drivers on picking tasks; What we are looking for in a Production Assistant Availability to work on weekends (typically 1 weekend every 2 weeks) Interest in food and cake products (full Honesty training is provided as it is necessary that the team knows the product range) Great focus on product quality; Great focus on HACCP and Food Safety principles Team Player Able/Interested in working in a fast paced environment, meeting new challenges every day and tasting new products very often!
