As a Product SME you will have a key role within Davies UK & I IT, providing product support and input to both business users and internal IT development teams.
You will have a good understanding of business users and processes, and will support end users by will work prioritising, investigating and, resolving and implementing issues, raised by the business as well as assisting with identifying and the prioritisation prioritising of improvements, and coordinating delivery of releases across our product estate.
and to generally act as a 'voice of the business' in relation to all of the Keoghs products.
You will also support internal development teams, as required, including assisting with monitoring, analysis, testing, providing feedback on developed features, together with supporting the collation of user feedback, for example via pilots.
You will have your own specialism but will also have the ability to cover other work support of other products and to assist the team of Product SME's as and when is needed.
You will not only be experienced in the different applications but someone who wants to learn how they work, to really get to grips with the applications and resolve issues.
You must also have solid legal knowledge coupled with a good working knowledge of insurance in general.
Key Accountabilities • You will investigate and resolve application issues through our Live Services portal.
• You will provide resolution to issues where possible, taking ownership and seeing it through to completion.
• You will assist in prioritising incidents that require developer input • You will manage business communications throughout the lifecycle of any issues to ensure the business are kept informed of progress.
• You will Liaise with the IT project team, collaborating and sharing information at all times.
s • Deal with key stakeholders and business users, being the 'go to' person for Tracker related services.
• Support IT teams, as required, in monitoring, analysis, and testing of features and products, and to provide feedback to Product Owners • You will Assist Product Owners to prioritise work, providing a business perspective of the changes whilst understanding the IT perspective.
a • Assist with pilots into production and obtaining/collating feedback • You will assist with and coordinate the releases into production, helping to manage the communications to the business and providing a business context to help IT get the message right.
• You will work with the product developments teams to help them understand the business context to our changes.
• You will reduce the need for human interventions in the future by driving the resolution of problems rather than addressing individual issues.
Working Hours 35 hours per week to cover shifts over between 8-6 on a rota basis Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch .
Primary location for this role is homebased Essential Skills and Attributes: • You will have an excellent working knowledge of the Tracker Keoghs applications, including Tracker.
• You will have good working knowledge of the Davies business and structure.
• You should have a solid legal & insurance knowledge.
• You will be IT literate with a passion for technology.
• You will have the ability to balance challenging issues with pragmatic action and resolutions.
