The core function of the role involves the analysis of complex data and applying those results to produce client focused presentations.
The Product Analyst/Associate must build strong internal relationships and partnerships with Portfolio Managers, Account Associates and Account Managers, as well as Business Development and Compliance teams across the firm.
This job will be based in London.ResponsibilitiesSupport Product Strategists in delivering portfolio solutions for clientsPerform detailed portfolio research and quantitative analysis with Excel, Bloomberg, and PIMCO systemsProduce attribution and market commentary as well as other product analysis reports on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis Conduct data and information collection, analysis, and interpretation tasks to increase the effectiveness of the EMEA Product Strategy team in delivering strategy advice and implementationWork with business development on RFPs for new opportunities and due diligence requestsWork with the product strategy team to monitor and manage the project queue to help prioritize opportunities, and follow up with account managers to ensure continued connectivity and sustained involvement with clientsServe as an internal resource for client servicing and marketing groups for portfolio, market, strategy, and asset allocation related questions and inquiriesMaintain marketing materials such as presentation books and other general education materialsConduct ad-hoc research projects related to competitors and market developments Assist in the development of new products and fundsPosition Requirements1-5 years of asset management, wealth management, or related financial services experienceBachelor's degree in in Business/Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Accounting preferredWell organized; high energy level/self-starter; strong results orientationThe ability to work effectively and professionally across seniority levels both internally and externallyAbility to organize and communicate information effectively
