PE Global are currently recruiting for a Technical Product Owner for a contract role with a leading multinational Pharma client, based in Basingstoke.
Responsibilities • Identify opportunities where technology can be introduced or enhanced to drive better outcomes.
• Responsible for the development and implementation of solution roadmaps and to ensure successful introductions across the organisation and with customers.
• Represent existing and potential IDS Capabilities, influencing local business strategy and challenge where appropriate.
• Align products that balance affiliate and corporate goals.
• Lead products by gathering, refining, prioritising requirements and coordinating delivery.
• Collaborate with internal software development teams or 3rd party vendors to develop digital products.
• Effectively assess and communicate the value of contrasting IDS solutions through business cases.
• Appropriately advocate change in the organisation through new ways of working be it, adoption of new technology process improvements to meet evolving business needs.
• Lead, influence and drive OCM, ensuring new programs and solutions 'arrive' ready to deliver value.
• Capture and pro-actively share best-practices and look for replication opportunities.
• Enable through technology new product launches and line extensions, contributing to transforming our business to succeed.
• Identify, screen, and evaluate new solution opportunities to address unmet (internal and external) customer needs.
Requirements • Experience of product development with technology and capabilities to support a multichannel, commercial organisation such as Email, Websites, Data & Analytics and ePeer-to-Peer.
• Strong technical background or understanding to identify the right technology for a required solution.
• Experience with an Agile approach to product delivery and it's supporting technologies.
• Strategic account management skills: research, listening, effective communication and presentation.
• Keeps abreast of new technology and technological trends.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts in non-technical language.
• Ability to work in a virtual (not collocated) environment.
• Ability to deliver IT projects working with a cross functional team.
• Ability to influence without authority.
• Ability to partner cross-functionally.
• Understanding of the importance of quality and compliance obligations.
