Product Manager - Manufacturing

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES: The Product Manager will assist the Business Line Managers in driving profitable growth for the Utilities product portfolios through the effective management of existing and proposed new products to support the strategic and operational objectives of the business This will involve the creation, implementation and monitoring of product strategies and plans in order to achieve sales and profit targets. The role also requires analysing demand forecast of product lines, defining input to Sales-Inventory-Operations-Planning (SIOP) process, analysing and proposing business models and finished goods stock levels to satisfy customer demand and identifying the adequate inventory levels in order to maximise inventory turns.
The main duties of the Product Manager are to lead product management in 3 key areas of the business, namely, New Product Introduction through the Crane NPD process, management of existing product ranges and management of business model for existing and new product SKUs.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a technical and/or business management subject in combination with 5 years product management experience. Experience within the water industry, ideally with a manufacturing business, would be an advantage.
