At SilverRock, we are building a new bank.
Our vision is to "Pioneer fairer financial outcomes by empowering lenders to deliver and enabling savers to prosper" We are doing this by building a unique and highly scalable data driven multi-asset bank through a partnership of ecosystems, specialising in the delivery of forward flow partnerships and portfolio acquisitions from non-bank lenders, alongside our own brand deposits.
Purpose of Role The role of Project Manager will be a key part of the Commercial team, with responsibility for supporting the development of the savings product strategy, driving the delivery of the associated roadmap, the targeting of customer segments, and pricing on the full range of deposit products offered by the bank.
Key Accountabilities: Support definition of savings strategy including articulation of customer needs within target customer segments, product design to meet identified needs, pricing strategy to deliver savings and funding objectives, working closely with the marketing team to alignment to brand values.
Lead the development of third-party deposit acquisition relationships, for example, Flagstone, Hargreaves Lansdowne, Raisin, etc., to meet tactical savings or funding objectives.
Support the development of direct-to-market savings capability, working with operations and technology teams to enable efficient delivery of the optimum solution.
Maintain competitor analysis, providing guidance to the Product Analyst.
Support delivery of the liabilities element of the financial plan, i.e.
balances & margins.
Key Required Skills Savings product or market knowledge (competitor strategies, product development, management, pricing and governance) – may come from similar roles or adjacent functions Able to articulate the voice of the customer Commercially oriented Able to communicate with and influence a wide range of stakeholders Willing to take on challenges, some of which might be outside the documented role profile Key Qualification & Experience At least 5 years of experience in financial services Previous experience in similar roles is preferred A proven track record of delivery Degree qualification in a relevant discipline is an advantage Commitment to continuous learning & development Proposed Start Date: Jan 2025 Interview Process Stage 1 – Screening call from our Talent Team Stage 2 – Head of Product & Head of Operations Stage 3 – Chief Commercial Officer & Head of Credit Salary and Benefits Lifestyle and family friendly policies Health Insurance for you and your spouse 28 days Holiday Entitlement (plus bank holidays) Life Insurance Pension Contribution Must be able to work in the UK without requiring Sponsorship.
