Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) is a world-class organization responsible for growing all flows between businesses and governments, from SMBs to the largest global corporations. The Core Products and Platforms team (LMM and SMB) is part of VCS and works closely with financial institutions and fintechs to bring payment solutions that meet the needs of growth corporates, large enterprises, multinationals, governments, public sector entities and small businesses around the world. The team is responsible for the product development and management of a suite of products, encompassing core products such as Fleet, Travel, Purchasing, Virtual Cards, Small Business, as well as new B2B payment offerings and emerging verticals such as Employee Benefits, providing innovative payment capabilities that exceed client expectations.
The Manager, Product Management plays a crucial role in shaping Visa's Commercial Travel payment product offerings and market positioning. The role is responsible for supporting the development, launch and ongoing management of commercial payments solutions that support our B2B Travel and Corporate T&E Travel lines of businesses which may include Visa Commercial Choice Travel, Corporate T&E cards and other new product innovations.
The ideal candidate is an experienced product manager with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive results in a matrixed environment. Diplomacy to manage relationships and expectations, while ensuring a strong global approach and alignment, is critical to succeeding in this role. He/She must have proven experience in commercializing innovative products that deliver strong value propositions to the market. This role requires strategic leadership, innovation, collaboration, and creative problem-solving skills. He/she is creative and hands-on, has a bias towards action and can inspire others with his/her vision.
This role requires knowledge and experience in commercial/B2B payments. In addition to traditional product management experience, the ideal candidate will have prior experience within the B2B (OTA) Travel and Corporate Travel spaces. What we expect of you, day to day.
Identify use cases and define business requirements to address key client needs within B2B Travel and Corporate Travel payments Capture voice of customer and analyze data to help inform product strategies, feature roadmap and/or new vertical opportunities Understand market needs, developing value propositions, product requirements, rules, pricing, roadmap, and communications Collaborate with cross-functional partners including regional product, technology, legal, compliance, marketing, sales, operations, client services, and risk to ensure successful launch of products & capabilities Establish and codify processes to ensure a simplified sales, implementation and onboarding model to support scale Collaborate with global platform owners as well as core technology teams on the planning, prioritization and execution of the product roadmaps Serve as the subject matter expert for portfolio of products, both internally and externally with Visa clients Ensure the product strategy and product roadmaps are aligned and well-articulated to customers, prospects and partners, as well as internally within Visa Demonstrate thought leadership and enable flawless execution Educate and empower key stakeholder teams to drive client adoption & market penetration Monitor product performance, enhance KPI dashboards, derive intelligence to ensure data driven decision making This is a hybrid position.
Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office.
Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications MBA or Advanced Degree is highly desirable Product management experience within commercial/B2B payments Prior experience within B2B Travel space and Corporate Travel payments Natural collaborator, team oriented, diplomatic and flexible, with demonstrated capacity to operate and influence in a matrixed organization that spans multiple geographies.
