Product Development & Production Coordinator

The Asprey Group is looking for an organised and proactive Product Development & Production Coordinator to support our Leather Category in the process of developing new products; overseeing production from start to finish.
The role will be the key contact for external suppliers and internal key category stakeholders.

Responsibilities: Managing daily and weekly tasks in line with projects being developed or in production.
Supporting the team with updates and keeping on top of suppliers.
Working closely with the design team, provide assistance in the development of new product ideas.
Support the creation of product specs and keeping up to date on new sku creation.
Managing production and ensuring products are delivered on time.
Quality issues are dealt with in a timely manner, slippage is communicated to all relevant parties.
Liaising with suppliers and collating information such as stock availability, prices and delivery timelines, creating BoM and production orders; owning and updating planning and inventory tracking documents.
Visit factories and QC product when nearing completion.
Working closely with our in-house workshop and being a key contact for communication on bespoke and made to order items, ensuring the wider team are notified of any issues in a timely manner.

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritise, work well under pressure, and to tight deadlines.
The ability work independently and multitask.
Dedicated and responsible approach to job role.
The ability to work well with multiple stakeholders and departments.
A "can-do" attitude, willing to roll up your sleeves and make a vital contribution to a busy, dynamic and fast paced team and working environment.
Knowledge & Experience: Confident Microsoft Excel user including knowledge and use of relevant formulas.
Experience with SAP B1 would be an advantage, but training will be provided.
An understanding of the principles of merchandising and analysis.
Language skills (Italian) would be an advantage.
Experience in a similar role (3+ years) preferred.
