Our client is a growing player within the Private Equity sector. Due to continued business growth and success, they are now looking to recruit a Product Development Manager to join their dynamic Product team.
Working closely alongside the Head of Product, the Product Development Manager will assume the following remit:
Working closely with the Head of Product and the Director – Product Development & Strategy on new product conceptsMarketing mapping to assess the potential opportunity sizePreparation and delivery of pitch presentationsEvaluation of financial metrics and product profitabilityLeading a cross-functional team to launch new productsCollaborating with stakeholders from our Marketing, Sales, Customer, Investment, Operations, Compliance, and Finance teamsProject management of the launch process, with support from other members of the Product team, and the preparation and review of offer documents and prospectuses, external research notes, presentations, sales aids, and due diligence questionnairesPreparation and presentation of the required product papers to support the product governance approval processProduct management Analysis and reporting on product performance, product profitability, and target marketsCompleting and reviewing product information requests, due diligence questionnaires, and product reviews on our existing products, across both public and private equity, from investors, financial advisers, and third-party research analystsResponding to, and gaining external advice on, technical queries from investors and financial advisers across the product rangeProducing reports on competitor analysis and customer research and presenting the results to key stakeholders within the businessThe Product Development Manager will assume the following remit:
A professional accountancy qualification with at least four years' experience (including the time spent securing your accountancy qualification) in accountancy and/or the wider financial services sectorExperience of working in a 'transaction services' corporate finance role within an accountancy firm or corporate finance boutique, or experience of working at a placement agent, raising capital into individual investment opportunities and/or funds, from high net worth, family office, and/or institutional investorsExperience of launching and/or selling investment products/opportunities – experience of tax-efficient investment products would be helpful, but not essentialStrong attention to detail and an ability to review and edit detailed documentationThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Big 4 Accountant or Product professional with alternatives experience looking for a new role with a growing Private Equity house.
