We are looking for a Product Development Assistant to provide maternity cover (13 months) and to bridge the gap between the design/product development team and the production team.
This role supports the product development team in all phases of creating new products or improving existing ones, ensuring they meet quality standards and customer expectations.
The Product Development Assistant will collaborate closely with design, technical, marketing and merchandising teams to bring innovative products to life efficiently and cost-effectively.
Key Duties and Responsibilities Project managing all of the design workload via the online tool 'Planner'– along with logging all the development sections of the various projects.
From this actioning a weekly 'wash up meeting' with the rest of the Design & Development team to go through projects & priorities to action next steps.
Managing the vast amount of spec's – GT projects/Collaborations/Store orders/spec's from projects from the Creative Director.
Placing orders and setting up files for logo Blocks/plaques/Lining Strike Off's.
Create, maintain and update all SKU Codes for all product that are produced.
A key role that supports the Development and Production team in all phases of the critical path to ensure the business hits key stage dates.
Support the Product Development Manager liaise with suppliers to ensure the information delivered is accurate and up to date.
Understanding and interpreting design specs.
Actively contribute to team meetings.
Working cross-functionally with Product Development, Design and Production teams on a daily basis.
Input accurate information to the system and supporting documents in order to maintain accurate style information.
