ALL.SPACE are seeking a Product Assurance Engineer to join the Product Assurance / Quality Team.

The main purpose of the role will be the performance and reporting of EMC & environmental testing of satellite communication terminals and associated components and sub-assemblies.
This will include confirmation of the test configuration, delivery and accompanying test terminals to and from external test houses including set-up and monitoring of the test regime.
Collation and compilation of test data and reports for ALL.SPACE and external stakeholders Requirements Performing product testing to high standards, as defined by ALL.SPACE procedures and in accordance with recognized national and international standards Conducting testing using in-house test facilities and equipment Identifying issues and engaging with stakeholders to find timely and effective resolution Providing input, feedback and improvement suggestions on test plan content and test configuration / set-up Delivering timely and accurate data and reporting of test completion and outcome Supporting customer witnessed testing activities Seeking opportunities for improving ways of working, doing things better, cheaper, and/or faster whilst maintaining reliability and quality To establish healthy working relationships with key stakeholders and become a trusted partner Ensure compliance with defined operational safety controls and contribute to risk assessments and safety improvements Essential skills and experience required: 2+ years EMC/environmental testing experience with electronics / telecommunication products Knowledge of MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-810 Practical experience of setting up and conducting EMC/environmental tests for aerospace / defence /commercial product(s) Proficient user of bench top test equipment Must be detail focused but with the ability to multitask, and manage own deliverables Confident with working across multifunctional teams and good communicator to senior and junior colleagues both verbally and in writing Must be a team player and have good interpersonal skills, able to influence others by example and setting high standards Experienced user of Microsoft office tools, able to manipulate and analyse data within excel Comfortable travelling to various test houses around the UK to perform testing UK driving license Desirable: Experience with CE/FCC marking process NVQ level 3 or equivalent in engineering or technical discipline Experience of working with electrodynamic shakers and thermal chambers Additional Notes: Based at Portman Road but may be required to spend periods of time off-site at external test houses (project dependent).
