We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Product Assurance Engineer to join our Force Protection Product Assurance team.
This role is crucial in supporting projects throughout the development and production phases of their life cycle.
As a key member of our established team, you will ensure that all core Product Assurance activities are met, working collaboratively with domestic and international colleagues.
You'll play an essential role in delivering cutting-edge equipment and technology transfer projects, enhancing our capabilities and contributing to national security.
What You'll Do: Review and maintain Project Quality planning documentation.
Ensure compliance with Business Management System (BMS) procedures.
Act as the primary contact for hardware concerns with Design teams.
Interface with external customers regarding Product/Hardware Quality issues.
Lead product non-conformance processes and facilitate investigations.
Analyze non-conformance data and provide insights for senior management reviews.
Proactively identify and mitigate Quality risks to enhance customer satisfaction.
Participate in process improvements and provide training to Project teams.
What We're Looking For: HNC/HND in Engineering or Quality Assurance (or equivalent experience).
Familiarity with QA problem-solving methods (8D, RCA, DMAIC).
Strong self-motivation, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to inspire change and work effectively in a matrix organization.
Proficient in Excel and SAP QM systems for data analysis.
Awareness of continuous improvement and cultural differences.
