Procurements Manager

PE backed sustainable energy group currently in the market to appoint a Procurement Manager to oversee the acquisition of commercial goods not for resale.
Responsibilities:Liaises with key company employees to determine their product and service needsMonitors business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery timesNurtures relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for the companyIdentifies and researches potential new suppliersResearches new products and services to meet the company's goalsAssesses total costs of company purchasesDevelops and implements strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services and maintaining stock levelsThe ideal candidate will be coming from a blue-chip engineering background with experience in the procurement of goods not for resale.
