Procurement Specialist Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to work as part of a dynamic specialist Clinical Procurement and Market Management team within Arden and GEM Commissioning Support Unit.
You will deliver a strategic service for customers that delivers high value, improved patient care and cost efficiency savings.
You should have public sector procurement experience, including coordinating projects in complex and challenging environments, ideally gained within the NHS or Healthcare sector.

Role Scope: Full time hours - 37.5 per week A fixed-term agreement for 12 months A remote work schedule.

Key Responsibilities: To work as part of a dynamic specialist clinical procurement and market management team, delivering a strategic service, ensuring we are meeting our customers' needs and overall business objectives.
Work with the customers to deliver a robust work plan that will meet the needs of the Healthcare community and deliver benefits to the wider population.
Effectively manage sourcing and procurement processes that translate into robust procurement projects that comply with procurement guidance and legal frameworks.
Develop relationships with strategic providers to maintain delivery performance and a good working knowledge of changing market conditions.

Knowledge & Skills: Professional qualification in procurement (e.g CIPS).
Strong knowledge of procurement regulations, including NHS or Public Sector frameworks.
You will have experience in a procurement environment, ideally gained within the NHS.
You will be a clear communicator with excellent negotiation, analytical, and presentation skills.
Understanding of the NHS Commissioning landscape would be advantageous.
You will be skilled in communicating on complex matters that may require persuasion and influence.
