Job Title: Senior Procurement Business Partner

Duration: Temporary (3-6 months)
Opus People Solutions is seeking an interim Senior Procurement Business Partner to provide strategic leadership within the Assets and Investment Team.
This critical role will deliver high-quality commercial and procurement support, driving key initiatives to meet Directorate goals while aligning with broader organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and implement strategic procurement and commissioning activities to achieve cost-effective, value-driven outcomes.
Oversee a £700,000 budget, ensuring financial efficiency and continuous improvement.
Drive procurement strategies that deliver value for money, cost savings, and social value benefits.
Manage large-scale, complex projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organisational goals.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, legislation, and organisational standards.
Deputise for the Head of Assets and Investments at meetings and events.
Key Skills and Experience: Strong technical knowledge of procurement, contract law, and public procurement legislation.
Proven experience in senior procurement roles within large, complex organisations.
Expertise in developing and implementing procurement strategies linked to organisational objectives.
Exceptional project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects.
Commercial acumen and the ability to provide strategic leadership on procurement initiatives.
Experience managing change to improve performance within the organisation and supply markets.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
