Procurement Specialist

Procurement Solutions Professional - Peterborough - 12 month FTC - Hybrid You will join a high-performing E&T Procurement team to design, develop, and deploy procurement capabilities that deliver measurable business impact.
This role is critical in leading projects, creating business cases, and ensuring successful project execution to drive financial benefits and seamless product launches.

Key Responsibilities Lead procurement projects focused on cost reduction, quality assurance, and process improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to develop and implement solutions.
Design tools, best practices, and training for streamlined procurement processes.
Present business cases and recommendations to senior leaders.
Essential Skills and Experience Strong project management and leadership skills.
Proficiency in data analysis, business process improvement, and cost-benefit analysis.
Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
Understanding of procurement practices, category management, and matrix management Qualifications: An engineering background is beneficial but not required.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
Location: Peterborough
Contract Duration: 12 months
Work Pattern: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote after training)
Start Date: ASAP
Rate : £30 / HR (Inside IR35) equivalent to around £58,500 annually.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM - 4:45 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM - 4:15 PM
