Procurement Manager

We are currently recruiting for an exciting procurement opportunity for a Derbyshire based Public Sector organisation.

Senior Procurement Manager Duration: 6-month interim contract
Location: Derbyshire
Pay Rate: £240 - £250 day rate via Umbrella (inclusive of holiday pay)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri
Duties/Responsibilities: Generate, manage and deliver innovative procurement projects and solutions Work closely with client stakeholders to influence choice; prioritise change and to deliver savings, process improvements and product standardisation to drive costs down Deliver the Procurement approach to ongoing cost improvement programs on a forward plan basis which is robustly and transparently tracked and transacted Requirements: Prior experience working in an Public Sector organisation Proven experience at senior level in procurement and materials management Working knowledge of procurement elements of current P2P systems Robust negotiating and contracting skills Sound knowledge of legal and statutory requirements in relation to procurement To discuss this role in more detail and to secure this opportunity, please contact Poppy Troth / Tom Terry on 07441 916 441 or At Venn Group we try to respond to all applications personally, however, due to the volume of applications which we receive this is not always possible.
