We are seeking a procurement managers on a fixed term contract basis for our Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) category.Who we areWe started with an ambition to disrupt the traditional model of European industrial distribution, and a commitment to doing things differently for our colleagues and customers.Today, we are the clear market leader with a presence in 22 markets and sales of €3bn in .Our customers include some of the biggest names in manufacturing, the SMEs that form the backbone of industry and everything in-between.More than a mover of boxes, we use our specialist knowledge and technical expertise to deliver products and services that keep production lines moving.Right now, there are 9, of us and counting.
We've disrupted and we have grown, but we're not finished yet.The Role The Procurement Manager will be responsible for owning and managing the commercial relationship with Suppliers.Key ResponsibilitiesLead commercial relationship with suppliersManage and establish standardized contract frameworks and T&Cs with suppliersDrive value from and own commercial terms with suppliers (rebate, price support, trade marketing, etc.
)Support and facilitate management of Supplier and Product Data End-to-EndKey Stakeholders:Commercial Director and broader Category Management teamUK CFO and broader finance teamSuppliersCustomersPricingDigital and MarketingSupply ChainLogisticsSkills and Experience:EssentialExcellent commercial acumenAbility to liaise with different stakeholders in the organizationAbility to liaise with supplier stakeholders at various levelsRelevant experience in negotiating, selecting, and managing vendorsRelevant experience in setting and managing contract frameworksRelevant experience in budgeting and financial managementDesirableKnowledge of Industrial maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) products (e.g., Mechanical Power Transmission, Fluid Power, Tools, PPE, etc)Data management and analysisWe offerWe've built an environment based on trust, openness, and kindness, where different perspectives can thrive.
