Procurement Lead – Capital Construction (Fidic, Nec3 Contracts)

PROCUREMENT LEAD – CAPITAL CONSTRUCTION (FIDIC, NEC3 CONTRACTS) – RENEWABLE ENERGY START UP – LONDON OR REMOTE (WITH TRAVEL TO LONDON) - £80,000-£90,000 +EQUITY The role will oversee construction procurement activities, support ongoing in-life project commercial and contract management.
This role reports directly to the Procurement and Supply Chain, managing a multi-million spend across multiple global geographies.
In this role you will be managing two talented Procurement team members.
You will lead the tender processes ensuring they achieve the optimal price without compromising on quality of delivery (to schedule).
You will be the key commercial point of contact for their construction tenders.
This is a strategic role and will be looking for you to help scale this Renewable energy's capabilities across new geographies and continually improve their procurement and supply chain ways of working.
As Procurement Capital Construction Lead (FIDIC, NEC3 contracts), some of the things you can enjoy will include:- Lead construction tenders Help define procurement strategy across multiple capital projects (EPC full wrap, partial wrap, split, etc.)
Build a best-in-class supplier/contractor network Support construction project managers to manage a robust contract variation process In order to be a credible addition to the team you MUST have:- Experience carrying out procurement activities for complex construction projects Experience managing EPC contracts throughout the full lifecycle (incl.
variations) Experience working for a large construction client, contractor, or consultancy Experience working with standard industry contract forms, e.g.
FIDIC, NEC, JCT, etc.
