Do you get a kick out of seeing processes really do their job?The Procurement team is set to evolve the services it provides across the Aster Group and will need your help to do so!
This will be an interesting and varied role, where you'll be supporting the day-to-day activities in the Procurement team, alongside being a key point of contact within the business for procurement queries.You'll complete a range of tasks within the team including managing the groupwide contracts register, maintaining contract spend records, analysing information, and helping to develop our ways of working for the future.You'll support our partners to manage the procurement technology and will create user guides to support the usage of the systems across the organisation.
You'll also train some users on how to use our system supporting our leaders across the Group to really own their procurement activity from the outset.About youYou will already have strong administration/coordinator experience, having worked collaboratively with internal/external customers. You will be keen to use your people skills to build relationships to support the role.You will be a solution focussed individual, able to use your initiative and 'think on your feet'.You'll be great with a process, understanding how to manage them and how to look for process improvements. Your attention to detail will be one of your strengths, you'll be very organised and managing your time will not be a challenge for you.Previous experience of procurement operations and systems would be desirable, as a minimum you will need to be competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).The role benefits from flexible working, and we encourage you to work where is best for you.
Predominantly, the team work from home and come together for team meetings across the operating areas as and when so you'll need to be able to travel as the business requires.Our operating region includes Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall and London.
