The Role We are looking for a Procurement and Contracts Manager to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract at PRS for Music.
The successful candidate will support procurement and contract management activities across our transformation programme work, such as our End-to-End Programme which focuses on making substantial improvements to systems, processes, and the overall distribution ecosystem to enhance capability, efficiency, and modernity.
Your primary responsibilities will include managing procurement projects, negotiating contracts, and overseeing supplier agreements to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services and solutions.
Key tasks will involve conducting market assessments, selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and effectively managing those contracts.
The Procurement and Contracts Manager will have both internal and external stakeholders, so relationship management is key, along with the ability to be creative in solution management.
Your role will touch every department within PRS for Music, allowing you to learn fast how our end-to-end business operates.
Responsibilities Procurement Designing effective procurement strategies for the programme, ensuring procurement requirements are built in as soon as possible.Providing procurement advice and support for projects, from the preparation of RFPs/RFIs to all elements of the tender process.Assisting in contract negotiations and helping to define and develop KPIs or recommend measures around service levels when required to drive performance.Collaborating with the Head of Procurement to implement a robust contract management framework that ensures all contracts across the company are recorded and that records are updated with any contract changes correctly formalised.
Work with the Procurement Coordinator to ensure all contracts are onboarded on time and within the agreed budgets, including contract renewals.Contract Management Leading contract management monitoring activities relating to contract governance, contract management compliance, KPI monitoring, finance, and system support.Working with internal stakeholders on category agreements, sharing best practice approaches to contract management.Developing effective working relationships with service providers to drive value for money in respect to how the services are delivered.About you At PRS for Music, we want you to bring the best version of yourself to work.

Solid experience as a Procurement Manager and awareness of procurement commercial projects.Qualified CIPS member or working towards qualification.Contract management experience, including commercial management of suppliers, analysis of contract performance information, end-to-end contract management/supplier management, and commercial risk.Commercial acumen to deliver value for money through commercial solutions.Negotiating skills to demonstrate understanding of managing suppliers (such as considering trade-offs) when making commercial decisions.Contracting experience, particularly working with legal teams to execute legal agreements and Statements of Work (SoW).Excellent communication skills and a proven track record in managing stakeholders to a senior level by varying communication methods.Strong decision-making skills and the ability to articulate the rationale.Advanced stakeholder management skills.What's in it for you?
