What's on offer?
Base salary of circa £50-55k Commission structure that sees you benefit from the growth of your accounts - £10k is a realistic target (£5k year 1), however commission is uncapped Car allowance of £4,800 per year Pension - 5% matched contributions Mileage allowance 25 days holiday + bank holidays with the option to buy / sell a maximum of 5 additional Single Private Medical cover after probation period (family can be added at additional cost) Home based - all business travel will be reimbursed What will you be doing?
Working in a small team of 4, this role is all about delivering a range of procurement projects for a variety of customers across the private, public and 3rd sectors, with a key focus on social housing.
Some of the services this organisation provide for their customers includes tender management, full procurement outsourcing, spend reviews, category strategy formulation / management and training to name a few.
Some of the key categories that you will be specialising in include Property & Construction, FM & Maintenance, Assets (such as furnishings/white goods/kitchens/bathrooms etc), IT & Telco, Energy and many more.
This role is fully focused on delivery of the required procurement solutions and further developing a dedicate range of existing accounts, growing the revenue streams from each in a highly consultative manner - this isn't hard selling, you'll be working with Procurement leaders to understand their pain points and identify, and deliver, solutions that will help them.
You will be home based with your key accounts being assigned on appointment in a local geographical area.
The expectation is that you will be out on average a couple of days per week, spending time developing the relationships with you existing clients and delivering the solutions, and the rest of your time will be spent working from home.

What do you need to bring to the table?
It is expected that to be successful in this role you will be able to bring the following: Proven experience of delivering large scale procurement activities, including under OJEU/FTS/PCR2015 regulations A confident negotiator with the ability to develop and close on solution-based opportunities Previous experience of, or a willingness to undertake, account development in a complex stakeholder environment Highly engaging, credible, personality and the ability to build rapport quickly The ability to work remotely, without supervision and to maintain high levels of motivation A strong communicator with excellent presentation skills CIPS Level 5 qualified or equivalent would be highly advantageous Full UK driving license and the ability to travel and stay overnight where needed Excellent project management, time management and organisational skills If the above sounds like the next step in your already successful career, and you'd like to learn more, apply today with a copy of your CV, LinkedIn profile or whatever you have for immediate consideration – every application is reviewed by a person, and everyone will get a response, it's the least you deserve.
