Job Title: Procurement/Buyer Location: Blackwood Salary: £28-£30k per annum Hours: Mon-Friday days regular (flexi hours) Here at The Recruitment Co we are currently recruiting a Procurement/Buyer to work for a company based in Blackwood Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Procurement / Buyer will play an integral part of the team supporting on key functions within the department including Procurement, Vendor management, MRP scheduling, Quality Assurance, New Product Development, driving improvement initiatives while maintaining excellent customer service levels and some administrative duties.
Using strong commercial and analytical skills the role will create value for the business through effective negotiation of price, contract and service level agreements.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive and flexible approach to the buying role and have strong team values.
The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate a proven track record of achieving cost down benefit to the business.
