Processing Potato Supply Manager

R S Cockerill are a family agri-business based near York.
Operating throughout the UK, and now handling more than 240,000t of potatoes a year.
We are potato growers, fresh potato prepackers and supply chain specialists, supplying the major crisp manufacturers with processing potatoes, helping to make some of the nation's most recognisable snacks.

Our business continues to grow, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to work within our Processing Procurement team, working with our grower base to supply potatoes where and when they're needed.

Responsibilities: Work with a network of growers to ensure that they maximise their full potential in delivering to their contracted plan, monitoring crops in the field and in store, making sure that we are on track to deliver our customers requirements in full.

Support our grower base in delivering against our Regenerative and Sustainable Farming initiatives.

Key attributes: • Imperative that applicants have a clear understanding of agricultural supply chains, from farm to final customer.

• Preferably with previous potato experience and certainly of liaising with farmers, and other stakeholders.

• A pro-active individual, with an enthusiastic 'can do' attitude and be very much a 'team player'.

• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, being comfortable liaising with customers, suppliers and work colleagues.

• Possess a full driving license.
