What will the role look like?
As a Process Technician, you will be integral to site production.
You'll be operating state of the art machinery every day.
You'll be able to have impact, generating ideas and implementing improvements.
You'll be a problem solver, a technical expert, and a go-to person for all things liquid processing.
Alongside all this, you'll be a valued colleague working as part of a quality-driven, passionate team.
Key responsibilities include: Contribute to a healthy, inclusive and safe work environment, and role model our character mindset.
Support Continuous Improvement through the use of Lean Tools.
Follow departmental KPI's, minimizing, managing, and reporting losses.
Operate machines and processing equipment using operating interfaces.
Identify and address the root cause of problems.
Run the department's processes and resolve process failures.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions, and implement appropriate solutions.
Actively participate in the development and optimization of the washing processes.
Ensure awareness of and compliance with quality and food safety requirements within your area of responsibility.
Apply procedures and instructions regarding food safety (HACCP).
Determine pass/fail criteria for products and handle nonconforming products.
Manage product recipes, article numbers, and additives- including understanding their functions.
Background/experience Are you a proactive problem solver and quick thinker who strives to drive solutions?
The ideal candidate will have: Experience within an FMCG or manufacturing environment A natural ability to solve problems.
A strong sense of professional integrity and a passion for producing high quality work with a strong safety mindset.
The ability to work and make decisions independently.

Our site capacity has increased by 50% through this investment.
Settle also produces UHT milk for UK and export markets.
