Perform supervisory responsibilities in accordance with FCC Environment policies, procedures and legislation.Operate the plant in a safe, environmentally compliant and in an efficient manner on a shift rotation basis.
To include waste handling, boiler furnace, steam systems, fans, pumps, Steam Turbine Generator, ash handling, water treatment processes, conveyors, filter systems and valves etc.Carryout work in accordance with FCC Environment's operational procedures and risk assessments.Perform the roles of Competent Person and Authorised Person in accordance with FCC Environment Safety Rules.The Process Support Technician will support operational H&S performance to include safety inspections, plant area responsibilities and partake in routine H&S meetings and forums.Support operational improvements to increase performance, while liaising with the shift operations, maintenance, cleaning and 1/0 teams.
Support the management of corrective actions, defect notifications and rectification.Support the co-ordination of plant maintenance activities to include removing plant from service, providing a safe system of work, and returning the plant to service.Take an active role in the control of operational consumable materials.
Support workplace investigations and operational root cause analysis activities.Support the development and implementation of operational strategies and recovery plans.Support operational compliance to internal and external standards.
Carry out company or specialist training.
Trained First Aider.The ability to operate and interrogate complex Distributed Control Systems (DCS).Ability to operate large mobile plant and overhead cranes.During emergency situations the Process Support Technician will co-ordinate with the emergency services and perform the duties of a Fire Marshall whilst under the direction of the Shift Manager.Ensure the appropriate standards of housekeeping are maintained.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- About UsWe are FCC Environment, one of the nation's leading waste and resource management companies.
