Process Engineering Cell Lead / Team Lead - Photolithography - Ipswitch, UK Role Summary: Join our Fab Engineering and Technical Operations teams as a Process Engineering Cell Lead.
You'll optimize cleanroom processes for R&D and wafer manufacturing, develop new technologies, and drive the transfer of processes to large-scale manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities: Leadership: Lead the Photolithography Team, managing engineers and technicians.
Set clear goals, drive performance reviews, and foster team development.
Develop and maintain live cell plans with clear timelines and ownership.
Cultivate a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Technical Excellence: Drive process development to stay ahead in technology.
Oversee day-to-day operations for defined toolsets and direct R&D/manufacturing wafers.
Improve manufacturing processes to boost productivity and quality.
Utilize SPC, FMEA, and statistical methods to enhance reliability.
Document processes and create SOPs.
Qualifications: Required: 5+ years in Fab Process Engineering/Development.
Hands-on photolithography expertise and experience with process/metrology tools.
Master's in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, or a related field.
Knowledge of SPC and structured problem-solving.
Desired: Team leadership and project management experience.
Familiarity with E-Beam Lithography and InP materials.
Proficiency in SPC, Six Sigma, and DOE; Green Belt certification is a plus.
Personal Attributes: Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or in a team.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.
