Servomex, the global expert in gas analysis, is excited to be recruiting for an Analytical Systems Project/Process Engineer to be based out of our UK Technical Centre in Crowborough, East Sussex.
Reporting to our Systems Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for detailed design, project management and the commercial attainment of Servomex System ( Sample Conditioning Systems ) projects.
Additionally, they will provide key input at the systems conceptual design stage of the quotation.

Some flexibility for travel in the UK and Europe will be required with this opportunity.
About The Opportunity: Support quotation stage of projects for materials specification and commercial review.
Upon order placement, attend kick off meeting and take responsibility of overall project coordination.
Interface with customers, vendors, representative companies and Servomex Sales colleagues to provide a system design that meets the customers' expectations within the Servomex cost budget and delivered on time.
Manage the project to verify that parts are delivered when required and labour resources are available to meet the project schedule dates.
Notify the Systems Engineering Manager as soon as possible conflicts / issues arise so corrective action can be taken.
Administer the SAP works order to make sure component parts are specified and ordered on time.
Review job shortages to make sure project schedule will not be adversely affected.
Produce a set of CAD drawings (or direct third parties) so that system drawings are prepared correctly and submitted on time to the customer.
Write test specification for the engineered system.
Assist production and test personnel to make sure the system is built and tested to specifications.
Coordinate and take charge of any Factory Acceptance Tests required.
Support the shipping and accounts receivable departments with documentation on systems for proper shipment and receipt of payment per project contract.
About Your Talent: A successful and proven track record of performing as a Project Engineer or closely related role, within a similar technical environment (physics, electronics, instrumentation, mechanical).
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to negotiate with/influence stakeholders on any issues that arise.
A methodical, highly organised and proactive, results oriented and logical individual capable of producing high quality work to deadlines and working with other disciplines.
Strong communication and customer focus with the ability and desire to discuss complex and technical detail via email, video, phone and face to face.
Flexibility and willingness to undertake some travel (Europe and UK) at Inspection stages of the project.
Evaluate projects progress and prioritise workloads accordingly.
Proficiency with AutoCAD LT (2D) - or other CAD software with a willingness to learn AutoCAD.
Desirable Experience And Skills: Sample conditioning design experience - would be a distinct advantage.
Experience in the project management of sampling conditioning systems.
Working knowledge of Analyser Systems Integration components.
Knowledge of standards/codes applicable to Systems Integration globally.
SAP.
Desirable Qualifications And Education: BSc / BEng (or equivalent) in Physics, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering or closely related discipline.
