Process Engineer responsibilities include - Review current processes and existing methods of manufacture.
Work on volume outputs, scrap/rework, quality, safety, and delivery commitments.
Assist with the design of jigs and fixtures.
Support with the creation of new manuals and staff training where necessary.
Assist with plant layouts to ensure material flow is maximised.
Help to drive continuous improvement/kaizen programs on site.
Process Engineer desirable skills and experience - Knowledge of modern manufacturing methods and techniques.
Able to read and work from technical drawings.
Able to use lean tools such as CPK, VSM, and OEE.
Mechanical engineering education (HNC/HNC) or relevant training.
