Job Title: Problem & Change Management Analyst Description As a member of the Reliability Engineering & Operations team supporting the Problem & Change Management functions.
Supporting the Change Process identifying and working with teams to mitigate risk to the enterprise whilst working to improve quality of delivery in line with corporate goals.
Ensuring all regulatory requirements are met working to ensure the continued operations and execution of all CME Group Systems.
Prevent technology problems and resulting incidents, eliminate recurring incidents and minimize the impact of incidents that cannot be prevented.
Drive alignment between technology and business teams goals by providing transparency to all stakeholders.
Principal Accountabilities Gathers and analyzes information from incidents and change fallout Hold problem reviews to identify contributing factors, identify solutions and action items Focuses on identifying incident patterns and uncovering resolutions Have good problem solving skills and be able to interface efficiently with support groups Exhibit quick learning capabilities in picking up and mastering new concepts which may be business, technical and process oriented Work with the POD teams and Engineers to evolve the Change Process to ensure and safe and reliable continuous deployment delivery in a safe and structured way Define policies, deployment windows in consultation with Business and IT Support the day to day running of Change Control, assisting our Remedy users and support groups Help teams to understand and follow the Change Process and procedures appropriate for their role Representation and input into the Strategic Release Management (SRM) meetings for major impacting changes Review both eCAB and Expedited processes to ensure necessary Risk reviews have taken place before approvals Coordinate with impacted teams when larger than normal change windows / application downtime will be required Ensure Change Management documents and confluence pages are kept up to date and shared with the necessary users Skills and Software Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in IT in a role with accountability for adherence to process, managing project dates, or related activities Proficiency with Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, Remedy, or other core tools used within the department Strong knowledge of IT business processes and practices Excellent oral, written and collaborative communication skills Company Benefits Bonus Programme Equity Programme Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) Private Medical and Dental coverage Mental Health Benefit Programme Group Pension Plan Income Protection Life Assurance Cycle To Work Gym Membership Family Leave Education Assistance - MBA/Advanced Degree/Bachelor Degree Ongoing Employee Development Training/Certification Hybrid Working CME Group : Where Futures are Made CME Group is the world's leading and most diverse derivatives marketplace.
