We were named the 'University of the Year' and ranked 8th best university in the UK by The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2024 in recognition of our advancements across teaching and student experience.

We are a high-performing, unique and inclusive community of staff and students, committed to delivering innovative research with global impact and excellence in teaching and student experience. Working with our recently appointed Vice-Chancellor, Professor Phil Taylor, our next Pro Vice-Chancellor (Global) will be instrumental in shaping and strengthening our international strategy as we aim to elevate our standing in global rankings, diversify our income streams, and enhance our engagement with a broad spectrum of international stakeholders, research collaborations, and students.
