Purpose of the Role Due to continued growth, LB Group is recruiting for a newly created position within the Private Client Tax department.
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-orientated Trainee to come and join our Tax team in either our Colchester or Strafford office.
We are looking for candidates who are looking to start their ATT (Association of Tax Technicians) qualification, have started it or have recently completed and looking to start their CTA (Chartered Tax Advisor) qualification.
Whatever stage of studying, we would be interested in talking to you.
Reporting into our Private Client Tax Manager, joining us as a Private Client Tax Trainee you will be able to study for your professional qualifications whilst working as part of a team for clients such as high net worth individuals, trusts, estates and companies, to name a few.
Accountabilities Supporting ongoing project workflow and delivering updates to team and clients.
Implementing and controlling general internal processes for the Private Client Tax team.
Assisting with the preparation of personal, trust and estate tax returns and other related forms Working with a wide range of clients, including private individuals, trusts, and estates Management of key deadlines Advising clients of their liabilities Ad hoc project work Constant and effective liaison with all stakeholders including HMRC Building and maintaining key relationships.
Assisting with general business support and administrative duties of the advisory teams.
Skills / Qualifications Experience of working in a professional service industry is desirable, but not essential Excellent attention to detail and Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent organisational and time management.
Effective communication and interpersonal.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
